There was silence as he looked up at me and I raised the two guns that I had and aimed them at his head. He put his phone down but all I was looking at was his brown eyes, as he looked over at me.
"Ah, Leti," he said my name with confidence and question, like he was testing me and my patience.
"Surprised to see me?" I asked him as I glared at him, feeling powerful.
He simply raised an eyebrow before he gave a slight nod, "I am...I really am," he just said as he leaned back even further into the seat, "you've...you've really outdone yourself."
"Voetsek (piss off/fuck you)! I'm going to kill you," I spat, all of my self-control out the window as I looked at his calm and relaxed face and body language, "have you got any last words, bastard?"
He blinked slowly, "I understand that you are very upset with what I've done to your brother," he paused as he looked at the guns pointed at his head, "but you must understand-"
"It's just business?" I finished for him with a scoff.
"Exactly," he shrugged, like I took the words right out of his mouth, in which I'm sure I did. "And I know that you want to avenge your brother but you must think about this very carefully, Leti-"
"Don't fucking say my name," I snapped, gritting my teeth and gripping onto the trigger just a bit harder and his eyes held slight caution.
"- I'm a very dangerous and well known man. Do you think my people are going to just let you get away with killing me? They'll come after you, they'll come after your mother and your father, your sister and your brother...do you want that? They'll wipe out your entire family."
I tilted my head slightly, my hold on the guns not shaking, "I don't care," I just said, "I'm going to kill you, and then I'm going to light this entire car on fire, and then walk away. Then I'm going to go and sit back and wait for your people to come and take me. I'm going to laugh, laugh every time they think they're hurting me because at the end I did what I needed to do."
"You're not thinking straight, Leti-"
"Didn't I tell you not to say my name?" I exclaimed and then glared before I hit him with the gun in my right hand and his head flew to the side as his hands gripped his nose, "don't say my name! You don't know me! You don't know me, Leonardo! I'll fucking ki-"
I stopped mid-sentence as he now held up a gun pointed at my head and he looked smug as he smirked, "you'll do what? Kill me?"
We had a stare off as we both looked into each other’s eyes, "I'll still kill you, you know that we'll both die," I said to him, confident that I was going to pull the trigger on time as he pointed his gun at me and I pointed the two at his head.
He looked me over and then sighed, "there is no winning here, Leti. Let's strike a deal."
I laughed, for a split second before I rolled my eyes and glared even harder at him, "fuck you, that's what I say to your deal."
"I'm a powerful wealthy man, I can make your dreams come true, whatever you want, I can make it happen."
"I don't want anything from your Italian ass."
"From what you've done today- you've killed my best men. Those men were trained for years, many years, and you finished them in a matter of five minutes. I want you on my side, Leti, I would be a fool if I said I didn't," he paused, "so I'll do this...I know you're not a killer...but I can turn you into one."
"Wha-"
"What you did today showed me you're worthy of so much more. So much more, Leti and I can open those doors for you. I can train you, make you better, give you weapons, and make you the best."
"I will never work for you."
"Let me finish- when I'm done training you, when I'm done giving you the skills that you need, I want us to meet again right here, at this very point and aim our guns at each other. One last time, and then, only then can you get your revenge..."
I clenched my jaw as I looked at him, "I'm not a fool, Leonardo."
"Never said you were, Nyeleti."
"So, what? You're going to prepare me to kill you?"
"Partially. I'm going to train you to become my bodyguard, and the person behind my death."

"I'm not an idiot, Leonardo, I know that the second I put down these two guns, you're going to kill me," I said as he pressed on the brakes when we reached a red stoplight.
He turned to look at me and then followed my left hand which was holding a gun, pointed right against his groin and he looked back up at me with a raised eyebrow, "but is it necessary to threaten my male parts?" He asked with a soft chuckle and I snarled.
"You've got jokes, huh," I commented with a straight face, "we'll see who'll be laughing when you're dead and I'm alive. Ha-ha!"
The light turned green and the car began to move as we drove through wherever we were going and he calmly had both of his hands on the steering wheel, his gears only needed to be changed once.
"You don't like my jokes," he shrugged, "noted."
I looked around the car and then back at him as I put my head against the seat, "where are we going?" I asked him, curiousity getting the best of me and I wanted to know where we were headed.
I was stupid and very naïve, but at the moment my mind was all over the place. I didn't know if I should just kill him, I didn't know if I should accept his offer, but I do know that he's a very dangerous man and the more I thought about it, I don't know if it's worth it to kill him and have my entire family killed and paying for mine and Jabu's mistakes.
Just thinking of Jabu broke my heart and I fought to not cry. Each time I blinked I saw the image of the bullet in between his eyes as his eyes held mine. The shock and confusion very evident as he fell to his knees and all I could do was scream.
"To my house," he simply said as he turned the car roughly around the corner and we picked up speed, he glanced at me and I just cleared my throat, hoping he didn't see that I was lost in thought and memories of my brother.
"You better not be thinking of fooling me, Leonardo," I began as I cleared my throat, "I don't mind busting your balls."
He laughed, shaking his head, "there...there's my house," he just pointed and I looked to see a beautiful house.
"How do I know if I step out of this car you won't have your bodyguards already there to kill me?" I said more than asked as we were now parked in front of the house.
He was silent and then scratched his brow, "if I wanted to kill you, I would've done it before we got here," he answered, "put that gun away," he said blankly, "my daughter's home."
It was like the second we walked through those doors, Leonardo became a completely different person. He had a wide smile on his face and the stiffness in his shoulders was long gone. I was both confused and frightened because I'd never seen anything like it. Until a chubby little girl who can't be older than five years old screamed and ran towards him, her arms wide open as she squealed in delight at the sight of her father.I stood awkwardly and the guns hidden under the waistband of my jeans, felt like they weighed a ton. I felt like I was intruding on a private moment as I cleared my throat and watched as he ran his fingers through her long hair and she cooed in response, talking happily away to her father. He said something to her before he pointed at me, "this is my friend," he said to her and she frowned as she looked at me before a small smile appeared on her face, "her name's Leti."
"Ah, there we go, come alive," I frowned at the close voice and struggled to open my eyes."What's going on?" I mumbled out but it sounded like gibberish because all of my words were s
Change is inevitable, we change every year, every month, every day and every second. You aren’t the same person that you were when you woke up this morning and you have either become a better person or far worse. In my case, I have become the worst version of myself. Perhaps not myself, but the worst version of a ghost- shadow, that I could be.
In the time that I have been bound to Leonardo, I have come to learn a lot from him and learn a lot about him. Arrigo Gabriele Leonardo is a very powerful man who holds a high position in the Leonardo Mafia and for that reason he doubts every single person he comes across and every man that works for him. So he has taken to confiding in me because I am in the literal sense, his slave. Since I have become his human diary, I know everything that there is to know about Arrigo.
I’m not too certain what I had expected Salvatore Leonardo to be because truthfully I didn’t care for my imagination. I’ve trained my mind to only think about what was important and even though meeting Salvatore took on a majority part in my mind because this was important to Leonardo; his personality and aura was none of my business. Yet even with being trained so well by Leonardo, Salvatore Leonardo was suffocating.
I just looked at him. I only conversed when Leonardo gave me instruction and judging from Salvatore's playful mood, he seemed to like it when I didn't talk.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I snapped as I entered Salvatore's private office where he lazily lounged in a chair, cocaine and pills all over his desk as his blood shot eyes looked my way, a smirk on his lips.
Leonardo was acting strange...he was acting strangely possessive and paranoid. He kept pacing up and down the room as I was getting ready for the morning and I was wondering what the problem could be."Is there someone that you want me to kill, Leonardo?" I asked him, my eyes on his figure that stood still when I finally spoke up. He'd been pacing up and down for more than an hour and I know he's strong and athletic, but his legs must hurt somehow."Don't even look at him, do you understand?" he snapped at me and I blinked, but I knew who he was talking about already, Salvatore.I nodded my head, indicating my understanding."Stay away from him," he further added and I nodded again."I've decided to cut this visit short," Leonardo told me as he walked up to me and looked down at me as I sat on t
