Chapter 4

Ava Celestine

A loud beat surrounds the bar sending vibration to things in here. Pop music that most people love was played.

I don't really like going here. It is a famous club. Yes. But when you are in the club you'll be spending a lot of money, going home drunk, and probably have sex with strangers.

"Let's dance. Come on. Ava." Cleah pushed me but I didn't budge.

"You go dancing. I'll just order and watch you here." I said boringly. I am tired.

"Ok." She said and bolted to the dance floor.

I ordered a Spirit-Free cocktail since I am not drinking alcohol. Some others said alcohol has a good taste, some others said has a bitter taste so it's better for me not to taste it.

I took a sip of the cocktail. It tastes great. I stared at Cleah in her dancing state with another girl. I laughed softly

" Ms. Yu, It was nice seeing you here." A voice startled me and my head snapped at the back where the voice is.

I hurriedly stood up and bowed my head. " Mr. Lambert, it was nice seeing you here." I greeted and smile politely.

He gave me a small smile. I took a step backward then I got out of balance. I am ready to fall but Mr. Lambert supported me.

"Be careful, young lady." He scolded and I stood up.

"Yes, I am so sorry for being clumsy," I said guilty of not being careful.

Cleah came back and greeted our boss. She turned to look at me. "Ava... Why don't you come with and dance on the floor.' she said as her teeth still clamped.

I nodded, releasing a breath. " Y--Yeah let's go " lastly, we gave him a curt nod.

Mr. Lambert looked behind me. "Mr. Ecollin you are already here." He declared as the music became louder.

Familiar name. I think Clean didn't hear it because she started to walk.

"What on Earth.  Our boss is here?" She whispered-yell while we are walking on the dance floor.

"It is the famous bar here remember." I reminded her.

"I think we better go " I suggested and held her wrist. She suddenly stopped in the middle.

"No. They don't care about us so let's dance."  She said and started dancing in the middle.

I rolled my eyes." I am going to the minibar. I am not going to dance. A cocktail is better." I said and she nodded at me.

I walked over to the minibar and took a sit. I ordered a cocktail again. We have a voucher so I can order as many as I can.

The bartender gave my order and I thanked him.

"Let me guess, you don't like here?" A girl walked up to me, sounded drunk.

I just nodded.

"Fiona. You?" She said and drunk the full little glass. I don't know what is the name of that drink.

" Ava," I said and sipped my cocktail. "My friend is there Cleah," I said, pointing to Cleah.

" My boyfriend and my boy-friends are meeting someone then my girl-friends are with their husband. They are pregnant so they aren't allowed to drink." She explained, slurring the glass she was holding.

"I hope I can get pregnant soon." She mumbled sounded lost. "Another one please." She ordered.

"Why are your girl friends leaving you alone?" I asked out of my curiosity. This girl is lost and having a problem like me.

"I...told them... I will just go to the bathroom." She said.

I sighed and stood up. She was about to drink the last glass but I held it. "Drinking Alcohol is not a solution,” I stated and put the glass down.

She looked at me confused. I just wrapped my arms around her." Let's go outside to sober up." I stated and helped her up. She just nodded reluctantly.

I guided her while we walked to Cleah. I told her to come with me.

We walked to the bar balcony on the second floor. Fresh and cold air fanning in our faces and body.

" Tell me, how do you feel right now?" I asked softly as we took a sit.

Cleah and I on the other side while Fiona was in the middle.

She examined my face first, and then looked back at the sky. " I feel sad. I never have been sad like this. They always know me as a happy and joyful person but now... I feel... sad." She whispered and a tear fell.

"Why do you feel sad?" Cleah asked and wiped the tear.

She took a deep breath and released it heavily. " We have been trying to make a baby but every time I took a test it shows negative."

I feel sad about her. I leaned my head to hers and held her hand, running my thumb. " Maybe because you are rushing things and God doesn't want that. Just take your time. Enjoy every feeling... just you and your partner spending because it is a different feeling if you have a baby in between you. Explore more things then God will give you a blessing at the right time."

I maybe not into kids but I know how she feels.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"It is ok to show you’re inside emotion to your real friend and they will understand you. No matter how you feel if they are your friends they will stand and will be there by your side." I added soothingly.

She nodded, freeing her hand, and slung to our shoulder. "Thank you."

"I'll let you meet my friends soon. Thank you, Ava... Right?" She asked and I nodded. She turned to look at Cleah.

"Cleah" She nodded.

A familiar man walked up to us. "Babe, thank god... You are here, I had been searching for you everywhere." He sighed and Fiona stood up. He didn't think and wrapped his arms around Fiona, murmuring something.

They pulled out and turned to look at us. Cleah and I stood up.

"Jacob Miller." He said and offered his hand.

He is one of the youngest billionaires here.

I was about to accept it but Cleah interrupted.

"Oh my!! God!!! Jacob Miller!!! Can we take a pic?' she squealed, jumping up and down.

"Uh-oh... If my babe would allow it." He said and gave a smile to Fiona.

Fiona and I chuckled slightly. "Sure. Babe."

Jacob accepted it and they took a lot of pictures.

"Babe, that's my friend Ava." Fiona pointed at me. I gladly offered my hand and he accepted it.

"Ava. Thanks for accompanying my fiancé."

He is known as billionaire Playboy here. But I guess he found his the one.
