On Friday night I received a call from Kim inviting to their family picnic. Although I was not very close to Clyde's family, I always tagged along because of Kim's consistent invitations. We used to be like peas in a pod when Clyde and Keri were dating. In most of their family picnics, two members outside the family were supposed to be invited as a rule. To make the occasion more lively, Clyde and Kim had to invite a close friend of theirs to join. I admired that family tradition of theirs.

Kim always chose me because she said I was her best friend though she wasn't my best. We were super close though not in the way I was close to friends I wasn't related to. Clyde always came with Louis or his other friends. Before my first kiss with Clyde I'd always loved the picnics because it gave me a chance to hang out with the guy I was crushing on.

Girl you made a choice and it wasn't Clyde. Deal with the fact he called Jenny to spite you. You should have chosen not to go to the picnic.
