Chapter 3

The laptop screen turn darkens. My fingers tapped the edge of the table. The clock on the wall almost pointed at 11:10. Soon it was time to rest. I rubbed the rough face.

Since I came to work, my focus has disappeared. There's nothing I can think of with a clear head.

Screwed ... screwed ... screwed up!

I didn’t finish my work. Rough, I grabbed the snacks in the jar and chewed them until they ran out. After that, go back to take the food again to chew again until leaving the jar only.

My hand moved the mouse. The screen that was previously dark now displays various kinds of letters and numbers that make my head dizzy seven times.

It's because of this man. Almost half a day I thought about the message. Imagining what that CEO wants with my arrival to his room, makes me shudder in horror. I gave myself a hug, intending to calm down. Then catch your breath.

Damn it!

A line of messages that can make my mood change. After all, what did he want to tell me to his room? Perhaps!

Is odious! God forbid!

My eyes keep on looking my watch while the paper on the table waiting to be finished. Pissed off. Without realizing it I hit the table.

"What's wrong, Nad?" asked Arumi who just came from outside the room, she immediately approached my desk. That serious look made me uncomfortable. Hands on his hips while wagging his hands in front of my face then asked,

"What’s wrong, Nad?"

"No, Rum," I answer it casually. Shift the table on the back. I got up from the seat, went to the toilet to wash my face.

I look back and i found that Arumi look confused, still with her hips on her knees.

As a partner in the same room. Me, Arumi, Daniel and Rafi are not that close. Just speak as necessary as normal coworkers. At least Arumi and Daniel still communicate with me quite often, in contrast to Rafi, who almost only talks to me when circumstances are most necessary.

The ambon-blooded man with dark brown skin and glasses perched on his nose rarely speaks and doesn't like many talk. So far that is all I know about him.

"To recap the data for this month, please finish immediately." Rafi put a box of paper sheets in it. I stopped typing on the keyboard. I tilted my head briefly to observe the not-too-large box and glanced at him for a long time. The back is getting away.

At that time only the two of us were left in the room, while Daniel was on business and Arumi didn't come to work. The man who doesn't like small talk and prefers to be alone is quite interesting. But, not as interesting as a Davin Adiputra.

About Davin Adiputra. I don't really know much about him, although I could say I like the cute black figure with dimples on his cheeks. Isn't that great as the President Director in a famous company? I heard he also has several other branch companies overseas. Which young and talent girl doesn't fall in love with her figure? Likewise with me.

Even if it's just a hope, it's okay to like someone who can't possibly be obtained while not harming someone who you like.

Just finished face washing habit. The bathroom door was banged impatiently from the outside. I bothered with the word 'wait' but still made it never stop banging. I let out a rough breath before turning the door handle.

"Nada, Mr. Malik looking for you." Arumi gave the code by moving his head to the left. The nervous intonation of voice made me a bit scared. I turn my gaze to the right. Sure enough, from the back of the back I'm sure who he is. My breathing suddenly became manual, the hair on my neck bristled. Feel free to get close. Suddenly from behind Arumi pushed me to quickly meet him.

"Hurry up, Nad." In a bit sounds, Arumi protested because I didn't get close to that man. I nodded doubtfully while taking small steps.

His back turned. Showing the CEO's cold face. His hand points to the watch then looks at me coldly. His feet were stop on the floor.

One word that suits him 'Mister Creepy' I smiled wryly, hiding my worries about being swallowed alive by him.

"Sorry, Sir, what's wrong?" I asked pretending to forget. With difficulty swallowing hard. I avoided his creepy gaze.

"Don't pretend to forget. Come with me to the room now." The baritone voice sounded terrifying to my ears. I nodded in agreement, not forgetting to give a smile when our eyes met. The man's face momentarily distracted me. The flat and cold expression he had been showing in front of the people wasn’t  same as the annoying expression he was laughter . Is he a different person from the one I saw earlier? Ah, how could it be.

"I’II wait." The baritone voice once again filled the senses of hearing. Heavy and masculine.

"Yes, Sir." I leaned towards to him. Even though I don't like his figure as can as posssible I throw away that feel when in a  working, because here I am nothing more than an employe who has more power to resist him.

The sturdy back disappeared when the door closed again. I took a deep breath, revenge cause from a while not enough air got into my lungs. Because, I can't do it when that creepy creature must be in this room. This knee is already limp.  I walked inclined to the work table, pulled a chair to be closer to me and sat on it.

From behind Arumi grabbed my left shoulder. As if I understand what I feel. He gave me a hand gesture for me to take a breath and then exhale, and strangely I followed.

"Well, how about it, better now?" He asked. The girl's eyes twinkled with worry.

"Not bad, test your guts.”I stroked the chest. Um, enough flat.

I closed the chair to the work table. A bit longer, I watched the monthly data computer screen that was still there, luckily I didn't turn it off on this computer. Because sometimes at any time this computer could hang and then all the data that was being worked on was lost without a trace. Well, sometimes I do, and it sure costs me overtime to finish it.

Finish saving data. I got up, braced myself to step into the CEO's room.

Arumi cheered me on from her desk. A split second later was busy again on the computer in front of her. I looked at the watch in hand. At 11 a.m, soon rest time will end and now my stomach is rumbling.

Canteen ... CEO room ... canteen ... CEO room

After thinking about the answer for a long time, I finally decided to turn left into the elevator. Hitting the last floor as the main destination. don't care how messy my face right now, the most important thing is that after meeting him I’ll hurry to eat because the worms in my stomach getting demonstration cause they haven't been given food rations.

The elevator stopped. I stepped my feet as soon as the door opened. I passed the two couples who were standing outside the elevator, they seemed to be chatter.

"Where do you want to dinner tonight, Honey?"

"Wherever, as it with you."

Little of their conversation I could hear before the elevator doors closed again.

There's a little jealousy set in my heart.

-CEO Room-

Somehow just looking at the writing feels creepy.

I stood in front of the room. Try to be as calm as possible before knocking on the door. A reply was heard from inside telling me to immediately enter.

Turning the door handle, I deliberately opened the door a bit wide. However, the baritone's voice interrupted me to shut it down.

I nodded.

I closed the door, but didn't lock, and it just for wary. It is not good if there only two different types of gender in one room. If something unpleasant happens I can freely run away.

"I have no intention of eating you."

I bit my lower lip, turned towards him then pulled a smile. That face was still cold looking at me.

"Sit," He said. Stepping closer, I sat on the chair opposite him. The dark eyes focused on the laptop to his desk. I looked down, afraid that my eyes would see everywhere, and that would be rude. Squeezing the trousers I'm wearing.

"I've seen you," He said.

Aren't I right in front of him?

"I mean, a week ago it was Sunday ..." He said later, without intending to tell anything.

I tried to think hard. A week ago, I came to the orphanage to give some snacks for children. Just come to say hello and play then go home. Isn’t he there? But after I remember. I didn’t see him on the orphanage. How did he know I’m there?

"looks like I see you’re close to kids and you can be trusted a bit. I want you to work as a babysitter for my child." The dark eyes turned shady. Somehow. As he mind.

Shocked after hearing his confession. Apparently, he already had children. No wonder if I call him 'Sir'. cause he was already a gentlemen.

He said he already had children. Of course he also has a wife, so why doesn't his wife take care of it? Ah, I should understand that rich people don't have time to even take care of their own children. I understand now.

But, how could that be. My employee doesn't even have much free time to work on the side.

"But, Sir. I also work here. Then--" The man with the sturdy jaw interrupted me.

Stretched out his id card.

"Saturdays and Sundays from morning to evening. That's my id card." He said. His dark eyes staring at me for a little while waiting for answer.

So creepy.

I'm splashing.

It’s easy he give order for someone to work for him. Who does he think I am. Looks like rather than having to cooperate with this man. It would be better if I refused the offer, because work to him certainly make me prepare myself and be patient a lot so as not to lose my sanity due to the cold and annoying person like him.

"How, do you want it?" He asked again this time his tone trembled a bit. The man cleared his throat.

"Sorry, Sir--"

"Accept it or I'll fire you." He forced.

I feel suddenly frightened. That brief statement shocked me.  wanted to protest but I held back, then I forced put this emotions by holding my trousers tightly.

I bit my lower lip, never to  believe that I would be put in this situation can threaten my job.

"I’II pay you 10 times the salary you work here. Saturday and Sunday okay." He said again. His gaze shifts to the screen with the apple logo being bitten on the back. Soon he started talking, but who knows who.

Cough!

Is that right? 10 times. Wow, this is suddenly rich. No need to think about it. Being a babysitter doesn't seem like a difficult thing, it's just that maybe every day I will always find this annoying face more often.

"Yes, sir. I will."

I nod excitedly. The man in front of me seemed to smile for a moment. Then go back to cold mode again.

"Ah, Sir. Smile like that to everyone you will not loss."

I smiled as if guiltless in front of him. After I think again, I made the mistake and the person in front of me was staring at me coldly. I pat my forehead. Then apologized for being presumptuous in lecturing him.

"Sorry, Sir ....!"

God die me!
