Discharged

As Edwardo walked out of the hospital he felt tears well up in his eyes as he felt the cool breeze hit his pale skin he wanted to hug his wife because he had made it through.

He had survived.

He had not died just like he had thought that he would.

He would be able to fulfill his promises to both her and his son.

He would also be able to settle their differences.

He felt so happy.

His son would never have to cry because of him again.

He would watch his son grow into a man.

He would watch his wife grow old with him and he would also watch the rest of his children that are to come grow up.

It was a relief to be out of the hospital, it gave him a new hope,a new view of life again.
