A hard forgiveness

I don't think in all my life I had ever heard such a nauseating thing. And to think that it was in my own family that such things happened. I think the word disgusted is meaningless compared to how I feel right now. I hold Naëlla in my arms, trying to revive her.

"We need to get him to the hospital." I say to our mothers.

"Don't worry darling, she's just giving us a little tantrum. She'll wake up right away." As she speaks, her mother takes water from a bottle not far from us and sprays it in Naëlla's face. She wakes up with a start.
