Fires pop around the entire field indicating that the event is about to begin, I see the owner of the bull entering the arena and going to the stage.

“With you, Richard Rivera, from the rodeo company Revenge.” A voice speaks over the stadium's sound system.

“Very appropriate.” Rayka grumbles.

“Good evening everyone and welcome to this magnificent event.” Richard begins to speak. “In our life, 8 seconds may mean nothing, but for a cowboy, 8 seconds on the back of a bull is like an eternity, it takes only 8 seconds for a cowboy to be considered a hero, in 8 seconds one will be defined the best. To face those 8 seconds takes an insane courage, a fearless bravery that few men have in this world. With you Sovereign.”

The bull is released into the arena, although I saw him yesterday and do not understand much of this business, I still marvel at the beauty of the animal, all black and only the white horns that stand out in his figure. I feel Rayka raise her body and turn to look at her,
