Third Person's POV Michael closed his eyes and took a deep breath. ‘Okay, here we go,’ He thought as he opened his eyes and leaned forward, placing his clasped hands on the desk in front of him. “Noah, this is your last chance… Please don't make me force you to talk,” Michael said, and the Omega's eyes widened. “What do you mean, make me?” Noah was nervous, and Michael could tell. He could hear it in his voice and see it in his body language. The Alpha hates it even more that it's coming to this… He doesn't want to do it, but he has to. “If you don't tell me on your own, I will be forced to make you. I am an Alpha, after all, I can make you,” Michael hated that he threatened him, but he hoped it would work and Noah would talk on his own. “What? You've got to be kidding me!” Michael could see the panic setting in and Noah's fear rising. “You, you can't do that!” He panicked, his words stuttering out. When he saw Michael's stance was unwavering, he knew the Alpha meant what he sai
RewrittenNoah's POV I slowly woke up feeling warm and comfortable. I nuzzled into the warmth before realizing what I was lying on was slightly moving up and down.Confused, I slowly opened my eyes before remembering what happened. The memories come flooding back, and I'm surprised I don't feel like freaking out, especially after realizing that what I'm laying on is Michael. I don't even need to look at him to know it's Michael. I can smell him; that's all I can smell: the scent of my mate. I slowly lift my head and look at him. He's sleeping with his head slightly tilted to the side and his lips slightly parted. For some reason, I don't feel like I'm going to freak out like I usually do when he touches me. And he's not just touching me; I'm laying on the freaking man for crying out loud! But instead of wanting to freak out, I feel calm and relaxed. His warmth is welcoming, and his scent is soothing. If he opened his eyes right now, I don't think I could get up; I don't want to. I
RewrittenNoah’s POV “Well, you sure didn’t feel fine!” Thaddeus said, looking at me as if he was trying to pick me apart piece by piece and decipher what really happened. I can see my father looking for the truth.“I know, and I wasn't fine when it happened. For a moment, I felt like I was reliving it. I could almost-No! None of that matters.” I stopped myself from going into detail with my Father. It won't help the situation; it will only make it worse. My father is very protective of me. Especially when it comes to my past. He tried so hard to erase my past and make me forget. “You know me, I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it. Really, I'm fine!” I said as I crossed the room, approaching my father. I leaned down to hug him and squeaked when he pulled me into his lap and hugged me tight. I smiled as I wrapped my arms around my father and buried my face in his neck. I took a deep breath in, and my father's scent washed over me. It was soothing, familiar… It was once home, but someh
Noah's POV "Have I mentioned how much I hate mornings!" I grumble to no one as I stumble down the stairs like a zombie. I make my way into the kitchen rubbing my eyes, still trying to get the sleep out of them. I walk past the snack bar where Alpha Jerk is sitting and walk straight to the coffee pot, and throw a K-Cup in it. I lean forward, folding my arms on the counter in front of the coffee pot and resting my chin on my arms, watching the coffee slowly drip into my cup. "Why does it take so long?" I grumble as I reach a hand back and scratch my ass. I hear someone laugh behind me and I glance over my shoulder to see Ryder walked into the kitchen. "Did you crawl out of bed, and walk straight down here?" He asked. "Don't talk to me yet. I need coffee first!" I snapped. "Dude, did you see yourself before you walked down here?" Ryder asked "You're standing in front of the coffee pot in boxers, scratching your ass, and your hair looks like a rat's nest!" Ryder said. I looked
Noah's POV I was feeling good after kicking his ass the last four rounds until Michael grabs me, kicks my legs out from behind, and slams me on the ground. He quickly straddles me with my arms above my head in one swift move. I lay there panting, trying to catch my breath. This fucker's good! He's kicking my ass! I look at Michael, his face is hovering right over mine and his chest is heaving, trying to catch his breath. Sweat is dripping down his face as he looks into my eyes. I find myself in a trance as I look into his steel blue eyes and his amazing scent surrounds me. The world around me disappears as his face slowly gets closer. My breath catches in my throat as his lips gently brush against mine. His soft lips press harder, as his right hand slides down my arms before gently cupping my cheek. I feel Michael suck my lower lip into his mouth and gently bite it. This snaps me out of it, and I kick my legs and lower body up, pushing Michael over my head. I quickly stand up an
Third Person's POV "Thaddeus I'm at the far South border. They're coming from everywhere, there's hundreds of them!" Roy said to Thaddeus through the link. "Hang tight Roy, several teams are on the way. They should be there any minute" Thaddeus replied as he raced toward the river. Marcus is leading 300 warriors to the southern border along with Zendaya. Abigail and Xander follow Thaddeus and Aiden. The idea is to keep these four together. Abigail and Aiden are strongest when they are near each other. The same goes for their mates. Mates are stronger together. As they race toward the river, the two pairs spread out, but not too far away from each other. Thaddeus and Aiden go straight for the river opening. Abigail and Xander go south a little bit, but close enough to Aiden for their powers to be full strength. A little over 300 people went to the bunkers. Children, and anyone unable to fight. That leaves almost 1200 warriors available to fight. 100 warriors stay within the h
Third Person's POV Aiden freezes when he sees the person he was hoping to never see again. Walking from the river with an evil smirk on his face is Jackson. "Well well well, what do we have here?... You are mine, little one! What did I tell you about running away from me? I thought I taught you a lesson, but apparently, I didn't. I suppose I'll have to be a little more direct this time!" Jackson says with an evil smirk on his face as he approaches Aiden. Aiden thought with all of his training, he wouldn't be afraid to face Jackson if he was to attack. But now standing in front of him, the monster himself, Aiden finds all his fears rushing back into him at once. He's frozen in place, unable to move or speak. He stands there trembling as Jackson approaches until he's right in front of Aiden. Jackson reaches up and grips Aiden by the throat, pulling him closer so his face was inches away. "You've been bad, little one!" Jackson said, taunting. Aiden's eyes sting as they fill with te
Third Person's POV Noah rips the head off of a rogue as Andrew, and his group of warriors finally arrive from Thaddeus's pack. Andrew barrels into the group of rogues that were surrounding Michael as he struggled to stand his ground. Everyone's exhausted, the fight's been going on for hours. Michael has sustained significant injuries during the fight, and he stumbles to the next rogue. Andrew and his group head past Noah where the majority of the enemies are. They quickly begin taking them down one by one. Three rogues and two of Jackson's warriors circle a weak and wounded Michael as he barely manages to stand upright. One of the warriors lunges at Michael and the rest follow, taking him down to the ground. Michael grunts, greeting his teeth as they claw, scratch, and bite him. Noah's head whips around when he feels the mate bond get significantly weaker. Since they are not fully mated and marked, they don't have that connection that allows them to feel when the other is hurt.
