Chapter Twenty-two

"Let's go," he said, she got curious when he passes by his car but she didn't dare to ask him; she quietly tailed him while passing the way and looking at the ground. She goes on walking until she bumps into him, Xavier stops and turns his back; he held her hands and walks with her.

"Where are we going?" she asked shyly while her sight is focused on his serious face, her feet are just following every step he takes.

He glanced at her and smile, "I will take you to a place."

"Where?" she impatiently asked.

He mysteriously replied. "You'll see soon."

They kept going on until she realized that their feet brought them to Central Park near the La Montagna Homes, the whole park is dark and it wasn't like this before; the road lamps are always open when the clock hands pointed to 6 in the evening.
