Chapter forty-one

The next morning, Gretchen came early to work. She race to get to the lift in an elevator but the nurses didn’t let her in, “I’m sorry but you need to get to another lift, it is already overloaded,” they told her.

She waited for the next lift till many people of them are lining up to gets in the next elevator, everyone hurries inside till she can’t even lift inside. Gretchen was left again, she couldn’t waste time to wait for another one again or else she will be late.

Gretchen use the stairs to get in the fifth floor to sign in the biometrics, she hurry and run to get there, “I knew it would happen. They will treat me like a criminal who abduct their favorite person.” She grumbled as she walks, she smile as soon as she saw the last stair even though she is sweating too much.
