Samil was merciful enough to turn his eyes away from me to make a call. If he gazed like that one more second I would surely burst out laughing hysterically, or I would have a heart attack.
“It's done. I have the last proof I needed. Prepare what I asked for, Elijah,” he gave a command on the phone and ended the call smiling wickedly.
“I guess something good happened…Sir…” I commented nervously.
“You just helped with my next goal, Ms. Eder… Your work, was the last thing I needed to fire the CFO my uncle previously placed here,” he stated staring intensively at me again.
His sight made my heart beat faster, I felt like I was naked in front of him. I turned my eyes away to regain my composure. I smiled awkwardly, desperately trying to hide how distressed I was.
