Friend's help

Grace stared at me with her eyes completely still. Almost like her mind went blank or started rebooting on the words I just said.

“G-grace?” I called hesitantly.

She blinked her eyes and kept staring at me motionless for few more seconds, then burst out laughing.

“That is kind of rhetorical speech, right?” she chuckled, doubting my words.

“No,” I stated, calmly.

“W-what… what does it mean that you are a witch? Like a “Witches of Salem” witch kind of thing?” she asked nervously.

“You could say that… Except for that I really can do magic…” I smiled faintly gazing at Grace.

“Wow…” she muttered, “That is… um… I don't know how to react…”

“You… don't really believe me, do you?” I sighed.

“Well… It is hard to believe in something like that…” she laughed hysterically.

“What if I could prove it?” I suggested.

“Well…” she paused probably wondering what it would be.

“Don't worry too much,” I chuckle
