“And this is what my men like to call the battlefield, we train here...but I don’t come around here anymore. Nobody wants to fight me anyway.” “Why?” “It’s nothing...” He reached for the fence, looking out at the men who were scattered across the fields. When he came here, it had been just one big and plain field, but him and his men —the ones who were previously rogues— had reconstructed it. They bordered it off and made three different fighting areas; the one at the very top were for those ranked level one, experience wolves, the top-notch ones, the one in the middle was for level two; men/women who were capable enough to be sent out in missions, the last partition was for the wolves born without much skill but is willing to enhance it. They can level up...which made them challenge themselves. Level three was mostly made up of omegas and he had shown his father that even the weak could grow strong through his training methods. It had worked for many and some were at level one now

Celia was the first to attack since Alex was apparently too egotistical to attack first. She had been waiting on him to run up for about thirty seconds, but the damn man only stood and looked at her. F*cking jerk... Celia was angry, she felt as though he was underestimating her, yet she didn’t attack blindly like Jamie had. As she sped towards him, her eyes searched for an opening and thought of ways to protect herself while attacking him. She had to think fast, it was as if she was at war. As soon as she got close enough, she skidded to a stop, watching as his eyes turned from fierce to confused. Using the pressure of her previous speed, she did a 180 turn and kicked him back with her hind legs. Xavier sighed as he wiped at the already healing wound around Celia’s neck. He couldn’t stop thinking about it, he really should’ve killed Alex, not only his actions were disrespectful, but his words too. ‘His words are just as important as yours...’ How so? Celia woke up with an headache that had her groaning. Her neck ached abundantly when she twisted it and her body felt like it was trapped beneath a rock. She knew what had happened, she could remember it clearly, Alex had cheated, he had almost killed her. Was it because she was a woman or because she was a rogue? It was probably both. Pushing the sheets off of her, she sighed. Her pride was wrecked in an awful way, she had been confident that she’d win, even went against Xavier when he told her not to fight him. She could bet on her life that he had been the one to stop the fight. After all, everyone else wanted her dead... Especially his father. Nobody wanted her here, which was why she had contemplated leaving, but how could she leave? Xavier sighed as he looked at her back, frustration one of the prominent emotions he felt. He understood what she was trying to say and he understood that she was frustrated too, but nothing that happened was his fault. If anything, he was a victim too.
