“Bloody hell! I finally get to go home.” I straightened my suit as I climbed into the car while Kegan entered after me. Our aids were driving close behind us in two SUVs and my latest conquest was in one of those cars, heavily guarded.

“If I didn't know any better, I would think you are very eager to leave New York.” Kegan teased, “You almost look like a married man who cannot wait to run back home and have his wife in his hands. Seeing all the trouble you have put yourself to lately, I would even suggest you stay back here and cool off a bit.”

I passed him a quick glare, “Is that your idea of disposing of me?”

Kegan grinned mischievously, “I actually think you need a little rest, that's all.”

I shook my head, “I cannot rest, you know that. Not when my enemies are working tirelessly to put an end to my existence.”

Kegan let out a muffled sigh, “And right now, I'm sure we are adding Ignacio Salvatore’s name to the list in red ink, right?”

“I wish it would be wi
