I'm finished!

"....The key is inside. If you like, run out of the room, I will track you down. By then, you have complicated matters for yourself…"

As she remembered what the man said some hours ago, he lost the desire to run out of the room. And because she was very tired, she slept off.

Early this next morning, she was the first to wake up and the man was deeply asleep. She summoned boldness and left the bed without making any sound. And whenever the bed made a sound, she would pause. The room was still dark. She stretched out and took the man's trousers and as she was about to bring out the key, it mistakenly fell from her hand and hit the ground. She felt the shock, widened her eyes and put her two hands to her mouth. The sound of the key made the man stretch his hands and turn himself on the bed.

"I'm finished!" She thought and felt a lightning bolt striking through her heart.

"You are mine," the man somniloquist and fell back asleep. When he gradually went back to sleep, Elisa took the key and wore her gown, but held her shoes in her hand. Without making any noise, she moved to the door, opened it and went out of the hotel.

When she came out, the rain was still falling but with less intensity. Inside the rain, she walked away from the hotel building. To her, it was a house of terror. She never felt the rain dropping on her body and she kept looking back to see if anyone was following her.

Her entire body was shivering. She stood alone on the street waiting for a cab and the day was still dark. Then she saw a car coming from her right. She quickly waved her two hands.

"Please help me!" She cried out.

The car stopped and before the cabman would say anything, Elisa burst into tears.

"Please take me from here, I was robbed." She wanted to gain sympathy from the driver. Reluctantly, the man allowed her into the car with her wet gown. Elisa sat in the back seat and folded her hands together. She was cold.

"Where are you going?" The driver asked.

"23, Reynolds estate," she replied with a fluctuating tone. The driver kept looking at her with a rear mirror from time to time and there was much curiosity on his face.

Thirty minutes later, the car stopped at Elisa's house. She opened her wet small bag and paid the driver. She came down from the car and ran to her door. She tried to open the door, but the door was locked inside. She hit the door with all her energy and the banging echoed afar.

Some minutes later, the door opened from the inside. In ferocity, she pushed the door. The first thought that came into her head in splits of second was,

"What is this bastard doing in my house?" She thought.

"Get out of my house. You demon." She shouted at the top of her voice. She was like a mad woman. Douglas was putting on his blue nightgown. She dragged his gown and wanted to push him out the house, but Douglas resisted her and knelt down.

"Please forgive me," he begged. "I can explain. Please listen to me."

"After betraying me, after making me lose my virginity? You still have the audacity to sleep in my house. If I had a gun, I would have killed you on a spot. It doesn't matter how many years I spend in jail." The cold in her body left at once and she kept vibrating and she didn't give Douglas time to speak. Douglas knelt down and his two hands were together.

"Please, listen to me," he begged again. His tone of begging kept irritating Elisa and when she thought about the painful penetration and without any sign of sympathy from that stranger, tears rushed out of her eyes.

"You sold me like a commodity. You fooled me like a goat."

"I can explain. Please listen to me," he replied.

"I can only listen to you when you are out of my house. There is no way I can listen to your garbage words while your feet are inside my house." She pointed outside her door. Douglas saw her firmness then stood up and went out, while Elisa jammed the door and locked it inside. She rested the back her head on the door and held her head with her hands.

"I'm sorry. You saved my life." Douglas shouted outside, but Elisa did not reply to him.

"I'm sorry. I gambled and I couldn't pay. The money was too big. They wanted to take my life. There was no way I would have survived it. I'm sorry," he changed his voice. I would have been a dead man by now if not for you."

"I would have preferred that you were dead." She shouted. "I don't have anything to do with you anymore. It's over. I survived your plot. You sold the person you claimed to love. I can never have anything to do with you. I almost lost my life because you love gambling. I wonder why I became so blind to have allowed you into my life to this extent?"

She left the door and with an aggressive walk, she went into the room, took Douglas' bags. She opened the wardrobe in anger and dragged Douglas' clothes from the hangers and some were falling. With force, she pressed the clothes into the two black bags. In a rush, she came out of the room and briskly walked through the sitting room and opened the door. Douglas thought she had decided to have a change of mind. What he saw next was Elisa throwing his bags on him.

"Where will I go?" He caught his bags.

"To hell with you." She jammed the door again and locked it. "You would have thought of that before selling me to a beast."

"I love you," he shouted. Those words brought Elisa to the window. Elisa was on her way to the room when Douglas said those words.

"You love who? Me? She touched her chest and she couldn't hold her tears.

"You never loved me. I'm just a tool in your hands. I never knew how I was blind to this moment. Do you think if you knee down and beg me, I will accept you back to my life? Am I mad? Or insane? You are not progressing my life. You are dragging me backward."

"But you saved my life from those bad guys….I have no place to call home." Douglas shouted.
