Ace’s POV

“What exactly did you say happened? Dr. Titus has already informed me, but I'd like to hear it from you." Once Luis and I arrived at the reception desk, the designated doctor inquired.

Luis stomped with his right foot, then bit the inside of his lower lip, his hands deep in his pockets. He flashed a glimpse at me. There was no way out, I heaved.

If I changed the story, an investigation would have to be opened, which is the last thing I need right now.

Sighing,"A threesome, doctor." "And she hit the wall," Luis said firmly, as if it were fact.

“So, who is the actual husband?" The doctor went on. I simply wanted him to stop because I was losing my poise.

"It's an open marriage; details don't matter." Just make sure she's all right."

My brother is such a brilliant liar, it's no surprise he's an excellent lawyer.
