ADOPTED HEIR **The Restaurant**
Writer's P O V
After their blood was taken, Nathaniel suggested that they have lunch together since it was already 12:30 pm. Kendra immediately agreed to it and Kendrick just followed them to a restaurant that was a little bit close to Queen's empire.
They sat down and ordered their lunch, and then started eating. Nathaniel chatted with Kendra on a lot of things while Kendrick just stared at them feeling bored. It didn't take too long, they were done with their lunch and set to go.
Nathaniel happily paid the bills, for him it was such a privilege and it was the first time eating with his 'kids'. The doctor had asked them to come back in two days time for the results before they'd left the hospital.
The restaurant's door opened and Kendrick caught sight of Isabella. His eye's widened and he immediately turned to Nathaniel

He sat up on the bed and rubbed his eyes, he further searched for his phone and he found it on the table beside the bed.He picked the call up. "Hello dad, mom is not home yet." Kendrick spoke from the other side."What? Really?" Nathaniel asked standing up."Yes, she texted me last night and told me she wouldn't be back because she had something urgent to do at work. She could always trash them in a refuse bin.She hasn't noticed him following her for the past one week and that relieved her a lot. She thought, he is finally giving up. Great.After working her ass off at the office, she got into her car and drove to an ice cream shop. Kendra had texted her earlier to get an ice cream on her way back home.After pulling up in an ice cream shop. She covered her face with a scarf and went into the shop. She ordered for two, one vanilla and one strawberry.After getting the ice cream, she returned back into her car to see a rose flower with a note placed on it.She kept the ice creams aside and took up the note, suspecting who the sender might be. She went ahead and opened the note.
