Chapter 40 : Threat

Giselle's POV.

I left my office and walked to the coffee and pastries shop near the school. I enjoyed the cool breeze while walking and I envied students that were going into the school with their friends and with a smile on their faces. I wished I could travel back to time, I would really make use of it diligently.

I sighed heavily on the street, regretting most of my decisions, ‘but I've lived well, where did it go wrong?’ I thought.

I entered the coffee shop, and went to place my order. I sat near the window, I had a cream cheese puff, apricot and vanilla puff, and croissants with a cup latte because I was so hungry, I didn't realize that I was eating so much until I noticed that the attendant gaze was on me.

I finished eating and left the coffee and pastries shop, I walked back to school while checking my wrist watch. I didn't want to be late to the lecture hall. I was going to lecture so I fastened my pace, and when I got to school, I met the person that irritated me the most
