Roman Was already outside waiting for us.

I could see that he was really tense and uncomfortable, barely glancing up from his phone.

“Daddy!” Belle ran into his arms and he caught her just in time.

He managed to push a smile out as he placed her on his hip, kissing her head and cheek.

“My Princess, how've you been? I missed you!"

Waiting for them to finish their reunion and recognise my presence, I placed my hand on my belly.

I didn't want to pay much heed to what Belle said. She had obviously been speaking to Roman too much and he had managed to convince her that the baby was a boy or maybe it was just wishful thinking on her own part.

He finally turned to me and I gave him a small smile.

His eyes said more than his lips could at this point.

“Where’s Quinn?”

I looked towards the door to see if we would walk out.

“She has to take care of things here. She'll come later.”

I nodded and we entered the car, one of the cars actually. There were four other cars behind us.
