CHAPTER 42.2 - CONFESSION

I saw Kaye wipe her face with her hands and let out a deep sigh before she got in front of me. Then she passed through me, put her backpack on the marble table, and went to a corner of the pavilion. She kept on taking deep breaths and fixing herself like she couldn't sit still, and then she went to face me again.

At that moment, her eyes pierced my soul, and I saw how frustrated, disappointed, and pained she was.

I opened my mouth, and with all the things I wanted to say to her, I couldn't find the right words. The only thing that came out was the word "I-I'm sorry…" since I didn't know where to start.
