I FEEL COLD

After Max left Jade's room, her maid walked into the room with a glass of juice for her. She had a frown on her face and did not attempt to make eye contact with Jade.

Once she placed the cup of juice on the table, close to Jade, she turned to leave.

"Hold on, please," Jade said to her.

She gently got up from the bed and walked towards the maid, "Agatha, I know that you are not happy because of what happened. You warned me, but I didn't listen. For that, I am very sorry."

Agatha sighed, "Miss Jade, I just came here to do my job. I've offered you a glass of juice, as Mr. Anderson requested. If you have nothing else to ask me to do for you, I'd like to leave."

When the maid still wanted to leave, Jade held her hand and pulled her back, "Please, please don't be upset with me. I won't be able to go to sleep. My conscience is judging me because you got shouted at due to my mistake. I didn't know that it would get to this."
