       "Will you be fine?" Tara asked.

Janelle nodded and forced a smile at her friend who had taken her home. Thankfully, her mother wasn't at home and Nana had provably gone to bed. "Yes, Tara. I'll be okay. Thank you for bringing me home."

"Don't give me that face. The more you do that, the more I'm compelled to stay the night."

"I'm not an invalid and I don't have an accident. I'm okay." She said and laughed. Tara smiled, though she wasn't convinced yet. And part of her wanted to stay back.

"Okay, I'm staying the night."

"No, no. It's fine. I'm okay, really."

"I'm not staying for you. I'm staying because I want to be here when James arrives so I can have a reason to break his nose; something I've been dying to do for years."

Tara said and walked to the he'd, threw herself on it and sighed happily.

"Right. That's a very good way of showing your selfish love." Janelle said and joined
