Chapter 78 Descendant of the moon goddess

Daisy POV

I opened my eyes slowly, squinting at the bright light. My head felt heavy, and my limbs felt weak. It took me a moment to realize that I was lying on a bed, instead of floating on water. I looked down at my hands, noticing the pale, sunken skin and the deep, purple bruises on my wrists an injury I got while running for survival. It was then that I realized I had just woken up from a long slumber as the memories of everything that happened started recalling.

How I was almost killed by that cruel king but was saved by the strange man. Then I was shot with an arrow and I fell back into the water and then, then…what happened next?

Immediately I stood up from the bed I was laying as if it burnt my skin. When I can't recollect the memories of what happened next then I'm not safe yet.

I'm no longer in my dress, I was in a white loss gown. Slowly I slipped my legs into the flip-flop slippers then I tipped toe to the door. I was very careful and gentle enough not to make a sound.
