Chapter 60: Meeting In The Park

Two days after the blood full moon, life had returned to normal in the pack. Thankfully, no one noticed I wasn’t among the other werewolves in the field during the ritual.

I was scared about people finding out I no longer had my wolf, and Damon had come up with a plan to lock me in a safe cave until the dust settled. And while growls and sounds of wolves belonging to other members of the pack resounded in the air, I sat down quietly inside the cave, praying to the moon goddess.

I begged her in tears to make me my once-powerful self again, to release my gifts and powers, and to make my wolf free again. I admitted I was in this mess because of my carelessness and wept sorrowfully.

Since that day, I have been feeling a sense of peace and felt lighter, with nothing to worry about. I had also related the weird text message that I had gotten to Damon, and he had assured me that I had nothing to worry about as he was already on the issue.
