"You can't refuse me entry!" I heard my uncle say before we could even reach the gate.

I rolled my eyes because of the scene he caused here. But what can I say? He's trying his best to make up for her daughter that he denied for years.

It must've been heartbreaking to be forbidden to see her, because his child is no longer just her daughter, Avery is the Guardian Lycan Queen now and has a responsibility to our races and to her own family.

"What's going on here?" Duke went in front of us.

His voice was menacing and as always, I can't sense any mercy on him. If my uncle will beg to see his child, I doubt if he'll allow him. Especially in a situation like this where everyone's eyes are on Avery. What a pity.

"Mr. Myers." Uncle stopped forcing his way in as he darted his eyes on the Lycan King. "I want to see Avery, to stay with her and her child."

The look in his eyes was hopeful. Jeez! Why did he even come out if he wanted to stay with his daughter? Oh, well
