In the Imperial palace after the physician left, Eros himself fed her the herbal medicine. As the imperial palace doesn't have female maids, he doesn't want the male servants to touch her. So he is taking care of her himself. After taking the medicine, she slowly began to drift into sleep. He bundled her up with thick furs, remembering the physician's words to keep her warm.

He sat on a chair nearby, so that she wouldn't be disturbed.

"Your highness" Thomas knocked on the door tentatively.

"Come in" Eros called, mindful to keep his voice down.

Thomas entered his king's bed-chamber along with a couple of male servants. They all stopped dead in their tracks to see lady Iris sleeping on his bed and he is sitting on a chair. This is so unlike his king's nature. Thomas has never seen his king like this. He never bothers himself with the health of his concubines. He just visits them once and wishes them good health, and that's about it.
