Belle - POV

"Don't mention my deceased father," I said.

"Belle, I know it's a sensitive topic, but right now, you're acting just like him," Venica replied. I shot her a glare, but it seemed not to affect her. This older witch stared back at me with serene eyes. Despite her age, she looked surprisingly young. As I stopped glaring, I felt a sudden calm wash over me, likely due to some discreet magic Venica had used.

"Sit down, Belle. Have you ever heard of the Odin Clan?" Venica inquired. I recalled tales of a dark witch clan known as Odin.

"Yes, they're known for dark powers," I responded.

"That's a misconception. The Odin witch clan possesses dark and light elements, making them one of the strongest. Both you and your mother carry this bloodline," Venica clarified.

"But I can only sense my wolf energies, not any magic," I countered, slightly exasperated. Venica sighed.

"If you're impatient, I might not tell you anything. I'm sharing your origins with you; it's your birthright,"
