“Andy and I would still like to thank you for bringing Alice back to us safely, Laura. We owe you a lot for this,” Cassey said.

“Don’t say that Cassey. I take Alice as my own daughter and I would do anything for her. I would equally give my life to save hers. She’s very special to me,” I said.

“You’re also very special to me, aunty Laura. But not as special as Mr handsome,” Alice said.

Cassey and I giggled.

“Ok Laura. We’ll be on our way now. Bye,” Cassey said.

“Bye,” Alice waved at me as they both left the room.

While they left the room I followed behind them because I needed a glass of water.

I followed my chamber’s hallways that lead to the kitchen. I got to the kitchen and drank water before returning back to my room. Returning to my room, I bumped into Killian.

“Can’t you see where you’re going?” I asked angrily.

He didn’t say anything. He brushed his forehead and started to proceed like nothing had happened.
