Chapter 9

Bailey's point of View.

Getting to school I was a bit skeptical about coming down from Miguel's car. I should have just let uncle Grey take me to school. What was I even thinking they would probably start talking and calling me names like before I don't think I'm ready for that.

"You know what Miguel? I'd stay here a little longer and then later on I'll get to class." I blurted and he gave me a side laugh as he looked at me stylishly.

"You're not staying in the car, Bailey. You're coming down and we are going to class together." He chipped and I frowned.

There's no way I'll follow him to the class. That would be the worst thing I'd do. I'll get more bullied.

"No way Miguel. I'm not doing that." I rasped and he smiled more. What a mischievous smile.

Miguel climbed down in his car, turned around, and opened the door for me. He did this even when I kept screaming that I wouldn't want to go out now.
