35: I found Mom

"Hey, Princess," I greeted Soleil, who just stared at me. "Remember me? I’m Uncle Guido." I introduced myself to her, not sure about her memory.

"Here!! You love drawing, don’t you?" I said, giving her the marker and leaning my face towards her so that she could draw on my face.

She used to do this earlier, but then she just stopped doing it all of a sudden. Later, I learned that a couple of pups her age had made fun of her by throwing a lot of paint at her.

Soleil had a problem interacting with others, so she couldn’t say the same to anyone, and when Alpha asked about it, she brushed it off by saying it was an art.

Little did anyone know at that moment that she was threatened not to tell this to Alpha, and the poor child trusted them more than her father, who promised to keep her protected.

I had seen Alpha living in regret for what happened to Soleil, but what happened wasn’t entirely his fault. He wasn’t a god.

"How about we watch a movie together?" I suggested it to her. I
