I paced back and forth, my mind was restless and consumed with countless thoughts of Raven. Ever since he had left earlier, I couldn't get myself to calm down. A gnawing sense of unease had settled in the pit of my stomach, refusing to leave even with the distractions I had given myself.

I couldn't shake the feeling that his sudden departure had something to do with a desire to meet another woman.
