OLIVIA'S POV

I was so stressed out that I didn't realize dozing off in his arms. The next thing I realized was waking up in his bed with his duvet covered around my body.

I felt his fingers rubbing my cheeks as he pulled the strands of my hair to the side. Opening my eyes, I was welcomed with a smile and a pair of eyes that made me realize I wasn't dead after all.

“Good morning.” He greeted, still having a smile on his face.

“Don't tell me you've been staring at me throughout the night.”

He shrugged his shoulders. “What can I say? I had to make sure you're safe.”

My eyes caught with his wounds. “They aren't healing.” I sat up, trailing my fingers on it. He didn't move, he acted not to feel the pain of the deepness of the injury. “Does it hurt?”

I looked at him, and he shook his head. “I don't feel pain.”

“Why hasn't it healed then?”

“Because I don't want it to.”

“Come on, Rick, you can't just leave your injury open like this. What if you get infected? You realize you'll be endangerin
