Chapter 17

I was disgusted with Darian and ran to the flower garden to avoid him. While angry, my hand involuntarily destroyed a flower cluster in the garden. When I regained my sanity, the beautiful flower cluster became bare, and leaves and flowers fell to the ground.

I felt a cold wind on my back that made me shiver involuntarily. I slowly turned my head. A pair of eyes that were as sharp as a knife pierced my body.

I was dumbfounded for a few seconds, hiding my hands behind my back, hoping Darian wouldn't see what I'd done.

Darian slowly walked towards me. His long and straight legs only took a few steps to approach me. I backed away instinctively, wanting to hide the flower cluster behind my back. The bare branches that pierced my back made me itch. I know I can't back away any longer.

Darian stopped when he was so close to me as if I could reach out and touch him. My heart leaped violently, feeling both nervous and scared.

"Who gave you permission to destroy my flower garden?" Darian spoke
