Beta Alex's pov
The relief I feel the moment I see Noah walk inside the room is something else, I couldn't take one more second of this shit and after what I had to do to get Stacey away from Emma all I want right now is to have my girl in my arms, I need to feel her. Noah steps up to Stacey and throws her across the room just before Theo steps into the room and pulls Desmond away from us.
"Desmond wasn't a part of our kidnapping." I quickly shout out before he gets hurt.
"We know brother, we overheard his conversation with Stacey before we come in," Noah says as he pulls on the rope that has Emma tied down. One of the pack warriors Max walks over to me and starts doing the same for me while another one of our warriors Jayden keeps a lookout at the door. "You did, however, help Sean escape didn't you?" Noah asks a panicked looking Desmond.
"I did Beta Noah and I'm sorry for that but please let me explain before I am punished!" His pleading tone

An Omegas Hope Heartbroken
Beta Alex's pov We walk through the last of the forest and into the clearing in front of the packhouse, no one has said a word while we have walked back. The twins took the lead while Josh is walking behind everyone and despite being offered help he insisted on being the one to carry Noah's body home while Emma has walked numbly next to me while I've tugged her along. I hear noise and look up to see Sophia, Jake, Savannah and Mia all coming out of the packhouse looking both relieved and worried. We haven't spoken to any of them as we all agreed that this isn't something that should be said over link but Mia would have felt incredible pain when Noah died so at the very least they will assume that either he or Josh are hurt. Beta Alex's povIt's been 2 weeks since Noah's death and things are still raw but I know from personal experience that this isn't something that's going to just go away, you never get over losing the people that you love but you just learn to live with it somehow. Some days are harder than others but day by day slowly things are starting to get back into a routine.The day after the battle we managed to get final numbers on deaths and it turns out that we lost four more wolves than we first thought, 11 of our pack members were lost that day and the effects are still being felt just as strong.They were someone's son or daughter and someone's sister or brother. Some of them were mates and parents and they will always be honoured at this pack. Beta Alex's pov "I want you to pair up, we are practising attack and defence today!" I bellow out to the warriors in my class which include my girl. It's been just over a month since Noah's death and it's been incredibly hard, the whole pack has felt the effects of his death and as much as Jake has struggled poor Sophia really couldn't cope and was close to having a breakdown so Jake has taken her away for a little while in the hope it will do her some good. They have been gone a week and from what we can see from when we have face timed them Sophia definitely seems to be improving already but I have a feeling it will be a while until they are back home.
