CHAPTER 16

ANNA'S POV

The day finally came. It was a sunny morning. The weather was cool and accommodating. Sun rays penetrated through my window giving brightness to the room.

I sat in idleness as the hairdresser did her work on my head. The maids were busy and mom was directing the whole activity. of course it's my wedding day.

Throughout the night, i couldn't sleep. I thought about my past life and i thought about my future with Jonathan. At some point, i wanted to tear up but i realised that it was useless. It can't change the fact that I'd become Mrs Clarkson today.

My father has been on calls speaking to higher dignitaries and friends that would attend the wedding. He didn't hide his happiness because, today aside from giving his only daughter out for marriage, The Clarkson's are also going to fulfill thier own part of the deal.
