Chapter 18: Ruined Wedding

I hurriedly flew back to the tribe, even though I was still in a mess, because I wasn't able to fully remove the dust from my body due to the irritating male beastman, who was teasing me without showing himself. I felt quite annoyed while huffing in the sky—like a kindergarten student teased by a playful classmate.

I sneakily flew over the high fence at the back of the tribal territory to prevent anyone from noticing my arrival. However, upon landing on the ground, a figure of a muscular being appeared beyond my eyes.

His huge silhouette covered the sunset behind his back as his shadow covered me like the huge clouds in the sky. I was surprised and lost my balance as I stepped back and stumbled to the ground. I was so terrified and felt quite guilty, knowing I made a huge mistake while thinking of a proper excuse for my behavior.

I was frightened to be scolded, but my mouth slipped and I asked, due to his silence, "F-Father, w-what brings you here?"
