HEATHER’S POV

Richard sighed, momentarily looking at me and the door as if he was unable to come up with a decision. I planned to get him to stay in this room with me not only for this night, but every night, and not return to sleep with his wife.

Right now they didn’t have a baby, and I prayed they don’t have one at all. I hoped they didn’t have plans of making one till I could finally take him back because babies were like little monsters that always complicated everything.

If B ends up having one, it will be hard for Richard to let her go, knowing they have built something living together, and that will bind them forever. Not to talk of what his father might say. He will only make things worse.
