Cassy POV
I turned around, wanting to see what made Rosalie say something like that, and to my shock, I got face-to-face with Caleb.
“What are you doing here?” I asked in surprise when Caleb approached me.
“I am inviting my mother to the children’s birthday.” He explained.
“It appears we have the same idea as my parents,” I whispered to his ear.
The realization left me chuckling, making Rosalie eye me with suspicion.

Caleb POVWe started milling around, stopping by some tables to talk to some parents. From the happiness wreathed on the children’s faces, I could see that everyone was having a good time.
