CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Rosalind

“How dare you, James?” I roared in his face as my hands shook in anger, and he froze with his hand on his red face that was sure to sting.

My chest heaved as I tried to control my anger but failing because he was still here, in my house and the mere fact was getting me more and more infuriated.

“Answer me! How dare you accuse me of killing the person who I dedicated my life to nursing back to life for three years?”

His jaw clenched but he kept quiet, not even looking me in the eyes.

I shook my head in disappointment. I had faith in him. I really did.

“You know what? Get out.” I ordered turning away from him and towards the door.

He rose his head but I avoided his gaze. I couldn’t believe this was the man I loved all my life just days ago.

I’ve been a fool.

“Rosalind-“ he started but I wanted none of that.
