CHAPTER 13: TRY TO FLIRT

Dale’s POV

“You don’t have a lot of stuff”

“The resort is still under construction so I will just have a site visit and a meeting with my client so we can talk about the design and everything else”

“Are we not a nuisance to your work?”

“No. Not really”

“You never asked me before to come with you to any of your site visits or your work”

I just realized that we were so out of each other’s careers. We barely asked each other anything related to work.

“I know you were very busy and besides I have my team with me. You think you can come if ever I asked you to?”

I couldn’t answer. She’s right. Even if she asked me before I would have declined because every day I was occupied with work. I am just lucky that I have an understanding girlfriend.

“Let’s go”

We just arrived at the airport and our flight is within thirty minutes.
