Chapter 14

Lucinda Orlok.

I was already done with brewing madamé Elisabeta's coffee already so I just had to leave it for Rebekah to go serve her.

The bar wasn't really occupied so I had seen him immediately I walked into the bar. He was seated a bit far from the canter today, he was close to the glass window as he crossed his left leg on his right leg as he kept scanning outside.

He was on a black suit as usual but this time he was wearing a black shirt inside which wasn't properly buttoned completely which exposed his full tattooed neck and the gold chain he was wearing.

The gold chain glittered from the distance. I remembered the dress code of his bodyguards.

"Oh my.!" Rebekah poked the side of my stomach from behind.

I vibrated a bit. "Gosh!!" I sighed. "Can you stop poking me like that always?? You keep scaring me." I scowled as I turned back to look at Orpheus.

"Isn't that his bodyguard from the Garbina bar days back??" She tapped my shoulder as she pointed at the oxblood Rolls Royce Boat Tail that was parked outside , opposite our bar.

"Yeah i think so.!" I mumbled as I scanned the bodyguard from head to toe.

"I guess your Mr. Romeo is from a wealthy San Francisco family." She said, wearing a broad smile like she was lost in her fantasy.

"Hmmph…" I sighed. "They're always arrogant." I cursed.

You couldn't see the first class citizens in San Francisco visit a second class bar like Trenton's bar or talk less of our environment.

They lived in big places like the King's Valley Estate, each apartment there costs over an 80 million dollars. We could get a house here for just above 40,000 dollars.

He had looked at his wristwatch.

"Come on Lucinda.." She pushed me a bit frontwards. "How long will you keep him waiting for you. He probably has to go for work!!" She poked my ass this time around.

"Why must it be me??" I shrugged as I walked into the canter. I was lost in my own fantasies, he was goddamn fvcking hot today that I couldn't just stop having crazy thoughts of being his wife.

I had hid my identity from that d!ck, Oswald, for two years and I was ready to go ahead with Mr. Hottie Romeo by hiding my true identity from him.

Rebekah had tapped me at my butt as she brought me back to my reality. He was now looking at me with a blank face.

"Fvck! Fvck!! Fvck!!!" Elaine my wolf groaned. "Must you always embarrass us before our mate??" She whimpered.

"Mate??" I sprang up immediately. "Can you not be so dumb Elaine, he's just a human and he can't be our mate." I smiled to myself. "I see you also have a thing for this hottie here." I sighed as I turned his brewed coffee into a plastic teacup.

"Why should I not??" She gasped out. "Let's go already, let's go meet him. He has been waiting." She mumbled, pouncing around.

"Come on Elaine, can you just not pounce around for now??" I whimpered. "You'll definitely have me falling." I cursed inwardly as she wagged her tail as I walked towards our hottie.

I had placed the four teacups with a rose flower by the side of his alongside a small note I had personally written down an appreciation letter to him and had decorated it with love drawings.

Madamé Elisabeta really cared for her every customers as she had a printed appreciation letter which read, 'this is a small bar, the Trenton's, and we're proud a great mind like you could come create some memories with us. We're always going to remember you and be at your service till the end of time.!' That was too boring to be given to him.

I slowly dropped the tray on the table as I dropped the teacups on the table and I had pinned the appreciation letter I had written for him with his teacup and with the rose by the side of the teacup.

He had moved his right hand immediately to get his espresso but then he had touched my hand. I vibrated. I lost myself completely. I felt my racing heart be at peace instantly as his hand touched my hand.

I couldn't shift backwards because what if that was really what I've been longing for ever since we met at the bar. It's been a month since I have gone completely crazy for him.

I felt Elaine go completely warm as she rested like she had found her mate. But no, if he was a werewolf or probably a vampire, I would have known and if he was actually any of the both, he would have figured it out already.

I raised up my head slowly as I caught a perfect picture of his gorgeous, drop dead handsomeness. He smiled effortlessly which exposed his dimples on both sides of his cheeks.

"You look beautiful today Lucinda O." He mumbled as he let go of my hand. He picked up his espresso as he sipped it, still looking at me. "Hmmphh. You definitely must be a sweet girl, that's why your espressos are always sweet.!" He flattered.

I couldn't say a word to him because should I say, I felt like butterflies were in my stomach since his hand rested on mine. I held the tray to my stomach as I finally said a word, 'Thanks'.

"I should be taking my leave now!!" He mumbled as he stood up, holding the espresso. He placed his hand inside his coat's pocket as he brought out his card and had pushed it into my shirt's pocket. "That's my contact card. I'll be expecting your call soon." He smiled again as he walks away.

I had turned to return to the canter but I was taken aback as I saw the most scariest glare. It sent down a cold chill down my spine as he looked past me fiercely or should I say, with his looks, he could kill Orpheus?
