"What are you doing?"

Wesley jumped, his hand recoiling as if shocked. He turned to see Colin standing at the doorway, his tall figure elegant and his face cold.

"I-I... just checking on her... um..."

Wesley stuttered, feeling awkward. But then he regained his composure. Why should he feel guilty? He wasn't doing anything wrong, just adjusting her hair!

Why did this situation make him feel like some kind of sleazy pervert?

Colin gave him a deep glance, then walked in, removing Leah's jacket and handing it to Wesley.

Wesley took the jacket, feeling uneasy.

"Leah?"

Colin leaned down, softly calling her name. When she didn't stir, Colin took off his own jacket and placed it over her. Then he gently lifted her from the chair, carrying her princess-style in his arms.

As he walked past Wesley towards the door, Wesley's voice stopped him.

"Hold on."

Colin paused slightly, then turned around slowly.
