Chapter 14

Alessia's POV

Adrian storms back to our residence, like an angry lion that has just devoured his enemies, then in the pack house, I can hear wailing from here. Even though I'm not as good as him in my sense of hearing, I can still hear this. I'm perceiving that something has happened.

"What did you just do?" I scream at him even before he reaches the house but he passes by me refusing to say anything. It's at this point that I know something is wrong. I attempt to go straight to the pack house, see for myself and apologize in case of any eventuality but I hadn't taken two steps further when Adrian seized me taking me upstairs with him.

"If you dare move, I'll lock you indoors for days, you wouldn't be able to see outside for days."

"Are you threatening me?"

"I give you my words!" He declares with great authority and doesn't says a word further.
