Chapter Fifteen

My mate is a stubborn lady, and that simply means I have to be extremely careful around her. If I ever think of showing her a little atom of the love I have for her, she might take advantage of it and try to blackmail me into letting her go.

So I really have to try my best not to ever make her know my feelings for her. I just have to keep pretending to be hard, and not care about her, because that's the best thing for now. I thought about continuing to eat my food. It's really not easy to pretend, but it was a good thing that I was able to do it.

My mate walked closer to the dining table, and pulled out a chair for herself which she sat almost immediately, and then the cook rushed over to her.

I took a quick stare at her, and quickly looked away before she could catch me doing that. I'm never going to give her reason to blackmail me, because I'm stronger than that.

I turned over to my Beta and glanced at him, while he just smiled at me as we continued eating our food.

After breakfa
