“What?” I look at him with my jaw dropped to the floor.

“For real?” I scoff, shaking my head in disbelief. He showed his faith in me when no one else did.

Even he could figure out that I couldn’t kill my father but my mate refused to believe me. It hurts me more to admit that my mate doesn’t trust me when the man whom I fake-dated for a few months trusts me.
