Chapter 120: Strange Present

LUCAS POV

“A meeting with a new investor? Did she disclose her name and her reason for joining us?” I asked as Jack sighed. “I'm afraid she didn't, what do you think?”

“I don't want a situation of Leah coming back to hunt us again, it's not right.” I replied as he stopped.

“What's that?” Jack asked, staring at the stuff. I turned to look at it and then realized it was a wrapped present. “A new investor, a wrapped present?”

“What a coincidence.” I whispered.

“Elle, Elle.” I called and in no time, she came running in. She's my secretary, I got her about three years back and working with her has been great.

“This gift or what should I call it, it's wrapped and I don't know how it got in here.” I said as she sighed. “A delivery guy brought it in, a courier.” She said and I nodded.

“You didn't see a note or something?” Jack asked, already as curious as I am. “I saw a note but it had just two initials, I'm guessing it's from the sender.
