From a tiny crack in the window, sunlight was streaming into the pitch-black chamber and falling on the blood-spattered arms. The white shirt had been stained red by blood. The veins in the arms and shoulders were still green. His jawline was seductive, his long neck rested on the ideal collarbone. His large skull wound erupted in blood, spilling down his face to his strong chest. His broad skull wound erupted in blood, which then trickled down his cheekbones and into his powerful chest. His lips had ripped corners and were dry and bloodless. His eyes were puffy and thick.
Two men entered the pitch-black space kicking the door and threw a file in front of the injured man.
There was very little movement in the long, bloodied fingers of the injured man as he lay motionless in the chair. Two men were laughing loudly as they looked at him. One of them walked up to the chair and punched the injured man in the face, causing his nose to start bleeding.
“Son of a bitch! Sign the papers! We don't have whole day.”
The people standing in front of the injured man were frightened when they saw his swollen eyes slowly open. His eyes were a terrifying shade of red and looked very menacing.
“What are you staring at? Look down.” The punk yelled.
The fiery eyes contained neither fear nor peace.
“Lower your eyes, I said.” Another punk shouted.
The injured man's courageousness impressed both of the men in front of him, as he maintained eye contact with them. However, the goons were determined to get him to sign the papers and resorted to using force. Despite his resistance, the injured man fought back and managed to hit both of them before they retaliated by beating him up.
The light streaming from the door shone on his blood-stained face as he lay there.
When the other hooligans heard their friends groaning, they rushed into the room. The injured man didn't avert his gaze when he saw them, and they all tried to attack him at once. However, he fought back with great power and cunning, striking them all. But one of the thugs hit him with a spade on the head, causing him to stagger and fall to the ground lifelessly.
…
“YOHAN!!!”
As soon as Natalie and Bruno heard Sara Owen's scream, they hurried to her room. When they arrived, they found her sitting on the bed, panting and with a pale, sweat-covered face. Her feeble eyes showed signs of anxiety and nightmare.
Natalie tensed up and held her palm, “Sara, are you alright?”
Sara Owen's eyes started to well up with tears, and she remained in a dazed state.
Natalie saw Sara's quivering lips, and her own heart constricted with worry.
“I saw him. He's alive.” Sara whispered.
Natalie and Bruno exchanged their gaze in panic.
“Darling.” Natalie held her palm tighter.
“He's in trouble. He is injured. I'd go to him. Bring me to him.”
“Sara…”
Next weekend…
Assistant Nolan entered the cabin and Sara Owen’s cold gaze turned hopeful.
“Mobile data is not being recovered since a week?” She asked directly.
“I am sorry, Madam. The team couldn’t find anything suspicious from his phone.”
He placed a document on the table, “Here is the data.”
Closing her eyes, Sara Owen turned back. She was about to cry.
“The CCTV of the Dixon Villa was also checked but no clue was found of the person who attacked you.”
“Find him before I die.”
The hidden pain in her words once again made Assistant Nolan sad.
Just then, the cabin’s door slammed and Neel Dixon entered the cabin angrily.
“Sara.”
Holding her shoulders, he looked at her worryingly.
“Someone attacked you the night I went on a business trip. And you haven't even told me till today?”
“Was it necessary to tell you?”
“What are you talking about? There has been a fatal attack on you."
“I’m fine.”
“Mom told me that… You’re pregnant.”
Sara Owen’s heart trembled for a moment then she glanced at Assistant Nolan who seemed shocked after hearing Neel Dixon.
She nodded hesitantly.
“Did uncle know that?”
Sara Owen shook her head.
“Damn it!” Neel Dixon frowned then glared at Assistant Nolan.
“What are you doing? Why can’t you find anything about my uncle?”
“Young Master…” Assistant Nolan wanted to explain but Neel Dixon seemed irritated.
He glared at Assistant Nolan, “Why don’t you call me ‘Sir’? Am I not the CEO of this company?”
“You’re the substitute. You’re not the CEO.”
A low voice reflected in his ears and he looked at Sara Owen in a daze.
"Sara, you…”
“Don’t forget, Neel. We all are working for him.”
Seeing Sara Owen's courage, Neel Dixon clenched his pocketed palms into fists.
“I heard that you are going to call a board meeting to take all the power.”
“It's been a month and a half since he was kidnapped. I can't run this company without power. Taking decisions are hard...”
Sara Owen interrupted him, “I’m his wife. Let me take the power.”
Neel Dixon’s face darkened, “Sara, are you doubting me?”
Sara Owen didn't respond to the question and instead shifted her attention to Assistant Nolan. Seeing the look in her eyes, Assistant Nolan approached the desk, grabbed a folder, and handed it over to Neel Dixon.
“After reading this, you will understand that who should have the power.” She said.
Neel Dixon read the documents carefully. His face flushed.
“Young master, the chairman had got these legal documents made long back. According to this document, after the completion of madam's graduation, in the absence of the chairman, all the power of the company will remain with the madam.”
“Bullshit!!” Neel Dixon threw the file on the table.
“These papers can be artificial.” He yelled.
“Didn’t you see his sign in the document?” Sara Owen asked.
“How can uncle handover his powers to you?” He angrily glared at the woman who seemed expressionless.
“Does it matter who has the power?” Her question calmed Neel Dixon and he kept thinking for a while.
To whoever's reading this, if you've read 'Hot Billionaire Daddy,' you'll recognize that this is its sequel. Newcomers, I suggest you read the first book to understand the story's foundation. Don't worry if you're confused; the first book clears things up. In this second part I have given a long pause in the entry of the main character Yohan Dixon. Which was needed in the twist of this story. I hope the second part will get more love than the first part got. It took me a lot of hard work and time to write and adapt it as per your choice. I have kept all my projects pending for months and concentrated only on this book. Sorry for making you wait for months. But after reading this book you will find that wait worth it. Thanks very much. :) :)
“If my graduation had not been completed, I would not have been the Chief of IT Cell, then the powers would have been with uncle, your father.” Sara Owen stated what was written in the document.Neel Dixon glared at her for a moment, how did this simple woman start understanding the tricks of business?“Okay. I cancel the board meeting.”“I'm not stopping you from taking company decisions, Neel. But every decision taken in this company should not go ahead without my consent.”Neel Dixon nodded with a deep sigh, “Let’s go home. Mom and Dad are waiting for us.”“You go. Jack will drop me.”Staring at her pretty face for a while, Neel Dixon left the cabin.“Madam…”Before Assistant Nolan speak, Sara Owen turned back feeling sad, “Was the deal for which Neel went on a business trip successful?”“No, Madam. They did not understand Young Master’s concept. Although they are our very old client, but they found the chairman's way of working more reliable.”“I want a report of every damage, in
"A few days ago, I discovered your father's lifeless body in the morgue. It seems like he was attacked by some wild animal."Sara couldn't believe it. "Wait, are you saying he was killed by an animal?" "So, you didn't even know that your 'dad' met a miserable end! Or maybe you had something to do with it?" Kevin Johnson asked with a smirk."What are you trying to say?""Why was his body found among the unidentified corpses?""That man wasn't my father.”"So, he got what he deserved. Now, spill the beans. What's the truth?"Sara glared at him, her body still shaking."I was just a little kid. I don't remember anything. All I recall is that I had some kind of accident while going back to the orphanage. They took me to the hospital, and when I woke up, that man told me he was my dad. He had kidnapped me from the hospital, intending to sell me. But then he changed his mind and kept me around as a servant. I only found out when...""Your husband revealed the truth to you," Kevin interrupt
Sara shot him a withering look. "If you don't trust me, call my assistant and ask her.""You called Mom and said you were going to..." Neel trailed off, gritting his teeth in frustration.Sara Owen cut Neel off mid-sentence."Hold up, Neel. I know what I'm doing. I lied to Auntie, okay?" She turned to Natalie and reached out to hold her hand."I'm sorry, Auntie. But we've got a big client interested in a product. If we seal the deal, it'll be a huge boost for the company. And I knew you wouldn't let me go if I told you the real reason. Will you forgive me?"Natalie smiled sadly."Your husband always wanted this company to be the biggest in the world, and you're doing everything you can to make that happen. I'm so proud of you, Sara.""Well, I may not be forgiven, but at least the punishment will be worth it." Natalie added.Neel rolled his eyes. "You guys are too much."Sara turned to Natalie. "So, what's the punishment gonna be, Auntie?"Natalie gave her a playful scowl."Oh, you'll
Bruno and Natalie looked at Neel Dixon, silently urging him not to say anything. However, Neel Dixon avoided their gaze and instead looked directly at Sara Owen."I checked all the CCTV cameras. No stranger came into the house. To get to the pool, one has to enter through the main door. The housekeeper didn't see anyone leaving the pool. So, it looks like nothing happened.""Neel, chill. It's okay," Natalie tried to calm him down.Sara Owen interrupted, “Do you mean I lied?”"I'm not saying you're making this up, but it's suspicious that you've been attacked twice and nothing has been found both times!" Neel exclaimed.Sara frowned, "Either you can't find the culprit, or you don't want to find him.”"So, let's say someone is really attacking you," said Neel. "Can you answer my questions? The first time, you were attacked in your bedroom. The only way in or out is through the door, but you had locked it from the inside. So how did the attacker get in?"“He must have come from the balco
Neel left the room. Overwhelmed with regret, Sara covered her face, realizing that her feelings for Neel had been a mistake. They had once been close friends in university, and she was initially drawn to his kind nature and good looks. When he expressed his love for her, she thought her dreams had come true. However, after their breakup, Neel's reaction was hurtful. Sara had moved on, happily married and expecting a child with her husband. Her love for Yohan was deep and unwavering. She didn't want to dwell on the past or entertain the idea of being with Neel again. Bruno Dixon stood outside the bedroom, eavesdropping on their conversation and feeling a newfound sense of fear. He wondered if Yohan Dixon knew about this. Sara took a deep breath, knowing it wasn't the time to worry about Neel's ultimatum. She received a message on her phone, bringing her relief. She quickly composed herself, grabbed her purse, and left the villa. Bruno Dixon watched her departure with a heavy sigh.
“What? No way! I've told you a million times that I'll take care of your mom and you don't have to work. But you don't trust me.”“I didn't come here to be just a hookup, and now I'm pregnant with your baby. Are you trying to make me look bad?”“You care too much about what other people think. Sara lived with Ricky before they got married, and no one judged her for it. Why should it be any different for us?”“She's Mrs. Dixon, Ryan! No one's gonna mess with her. But you ain't Mr. Dixon. What difference does it make if you're the best actor?” Gracie retorted.“I'm telling you, I ain't Ricky. I don't wanna make the same mistake he did. I can't stay away from you during your pregnancy. I don't wanna lose my kid just he did,” Ryan said, his voice tinged with anger.Sara Owen was taken aback by Ryan's outburst. Gracie and Ryan fell silent, looking at Sara's flushed face."What the hell did you just say?" Sara asked. Ryan let out a sigh, realizing he messed up."Oh, crap. Sorry, Sara. I sho
“You should not come here.”Sara Owen stood up, “Uncle, I never wanted to leave this house. I love you and Aunt Natalie more than anything in this world. You both are my family.”Bruno Dixon patted her head gently, “I know that, my child. And that’s why I am telling you that we will not force you to stay here if it makes you uncomfortable. But remember, you will always have a place in our hearts.”Sara Owen hugged him tightly, “Thank you, Uncle. I will never forget this kindness.”Bruno Dixon hugged her back, “Don’t thank me, my child. It’s my duty as a father to protect my children.”"You're making me feel uncomfortable. Ever since I married Yohan, I've become connected to the joys and sorrows of this family. I've tried my best to fulfill my responsibilities. You know, I don't come here just because Aunt insists. I come because I genuinely want to be here. This is my family.""I knew you would say that. But Neel..."Sara Owen interrupted him, "Uncle, do you think I'm scared of Neel's
"Are you sure about this?"Nolan nodded gravely. "Yes, Madam. The software of President lift is impossible to break. The technician who fixed the lift confirmed that the software had been tampered with so that you couldn't use it. And when you opted to use the staff lift, it was broken intentionally right before you were about to go in. It was clear that someone had planned to harm you.”She felt a shiver run down her spine as she thought about what could have happened if she had been in the lift when it broke down. The idea that someone was after her was terrifying. She had never felt so vulnerable before.Nolan was watching her with concern, and she could tell that he was equally disturbed by the incident. She turned to him, "Do you have any idea who could have done this?"Nolan shook his head, "I am not sure, but we are looking into it. We are checking the CCTV footage and talking to the security personnel to see if they noticed anything suspicious."Sara nodded, "Okay, keep me upd
