Richard's POV

"Taking a shower? Do you need the nurse's help?" I asked in a surprised tone.

It had been three days since Nikkie woke up from her coma. That meant it had been six days since we had been in the hospital. Since she woke up, Nikkie had been devastated. Nikkie was mentally unstable.

She didn't even have any awareness of her surroundings. And couldn't recognize other people in the usual way. She could only remember me. Several times, Grandma, Aunt Karina, and Uncle Denise came to visit us when Nikkie was awake.

But Nikkie didn't show any positive response. She even looked like she didn't realize that there were other people besides the two of us in this room.
