Chapter 12: Judgemental

"YOU have the same name as the woman who stole a kiss from me, but actually doesn't know how to kiss." Yazed sarcastically reminded the woman.

"Hey—" she pointed at the grinning man, but she stopped when she noticed Edwin staring at her.

"Which woman are you talking about? And why did you let others get close to you? You know you already have a woman to marry and you can't ignore that." Edwin scolded his son.

"I think she's just a pretentious social climber and you know I have no love for that kind of woman." Yazed answered his father emotionlessly.

Jenny secretly clenched her fist while Yazed watched his father approach his mother's bed.

"Take back what you said," she told Yazed in a low voice.

He looked at the woman in front of him. "Even though you only finished high school, you are smart because you understood what I said." Yazed mockingly praised her.

"Yes. So don't immediately judge someone you don't know well." She rolled her eyes and boldly met his harsh gaze.
