Escape

I broke the door down I wasn't going to wait for her to open the door, I knew she was mad at me and chances of her opening the door were minimal so I had to. I found her on the floor startled by me breaking the door, she looked so frightened as if she thought I was going to hit her again it broke my heart to know I had pushed her to such extremes.

I tried talking to her and apologizing but she simply left and walked away. I didn't want to push her so I simply followed her silently hoping she'd go to our bedroom. She wasn't her normal pretty self her eyes swollen, her hair was all over the place and her skin black and blue. I was the cause of it, I felt ashamed I didn't even know what I was going to do to make things better after what I had done to her.
